The Economics of GEM
The economics of a GEM installation are easy to compare if waste and power information are available. GEM Americas, Inc. is happy to provide a "summary, non-binding" Energy Balance of your proposed operations if we are provided details on the proposed waste stream. Details required by GEM Americas, Inc. include: a) annual tonnage; b) days of waste collection; c) moisture content; d) recyclables such as metals, aluminum and glass; and e) the approximate BTU (Calorific Value) value of the waste.
Most corporations producing product, have a waste disposal and power expense, both of which constantly escalate. GEM addresses both the waste expense and the power expense sides of the equation. In a typical operation processing 100 tonnes of dry waste a day, the GEM system can offer approximately 20% savings over current combined expenses, net of all parasitic power requirements in operating the GEM system and all related equipment.
GEM Americas, Inc. delivers waste conversion at current tipping fees and provides long term electrical power supplies below current commercial prices.
GEM Americas, Inc. systems can be as manual or as automated as the user desires maintaining current employment rates or allowing computerized processing with a minimum of labour expenses.
